About Plotter Maps
Plotter Maps is a free directory of maths teaching resources for NSW teachers, organised around the new NSW syllabuses: Mathematics K–10 (2022) and the Mathematics 11–12 (2024) courses.
How we choose resources
- Focus areas and outcome codes come directly from the NESA NSW Curriculum website.
- We only list resources we have opened and checked. Links are checked automatically and must return a working page.
- Every content dot point is its own page. A resource is tagged to a dot point only when it directly practises or models that dot point; official documents stay at focus area level when their outcome codes appear in the document or the publisher states which focus areas they cover.
- Each resource has one type (Game, Interactive tool, Simulation, Worksheet, Unit/Planning, Video) and one or more classroom uses (Drill, Starter, Exit ticket, Early finishers, Enrichment, Reward), based on what the resource actually is.
- Links must return a working page (HTTP 200, not an error page). Sites that block our link checker are left out until we can check them.
- Where we have nothing checked yet, the slot says Coming soon. We don't pad pages with filler.
Independence
We are not affiliated with NESA or the NSW Department of Education. Sponsored placements are always labelled Featured sponsor and are kept separate from the free resource lists. See Advertise / Sponsor.
